Nail Instructions
How to attach your nails
WITH GLUE TABS:
1. Clean your hands and let them dry completely
2. Carefully push back your cuticles using the stick tool that is included in your order
3. Buff the surface of the natural nail using the nail file, you only have to remove the shiny layer on top, not more!
4. Clean the nails with the alcohol wipe
5. Measure a glue tab that fits your natural nail, it should cover as much of the nail as possible without touching the skin
6. Attach the glue tab, do NOT remove the upper plastic yet. Use a finger or the stick tool to rub over the glue tab to make it attach as much as possible.
For an even better grip: use a hair drier to apply some heat for 3-5 seconds before the next step. Do not hold the drier too close, you should just get some heat on the glue tab, not burn your finger.
7. Use the stick tool to gently remove the upper plastic
8. Apply the nails on your dominant hand first. Place the nail at the base of your natural nail right above the cuticle. Fold it downwards, hold and press for about 10-20 seconds. Done!
WITH NAIL GLUE:
Follow step 1-4 above, then:
5. Apply a thin layer of nail glue over your natural nail (avoid contact with cuticles) and over the raffled part of the press on nail (the part that attaches to your natural nail, turn your nails upside down to see the raffled part)
6. Apply the nails on your dominant hand first. Place the nail at the base of your natural nail right above the cuticle. Fold it downwards, hold and press for about 20-30 seconds. Done!
How to remove the nails
If you used glue tabs:
Use the stick-tool, gently press it in between the press-on nail and your natural nail on the side. Pull the stick back and forth on both sides until the nail comes off. Finish with our nourising nail oil!
If you used glue:
You need: Acetone 100% OR warm water and your stick tool
NOTE! Using acetone is easier on your natural nail, however, this dissolves the soft gel press on. Warm water keeps the press on nail intact, but you need more time an patience to not damage your natural nail when removing
1. Soak the nails with acetone or warm water
- use a container filled with acetone/water, dip the fingertips in it for about 10 min
2. Since my nails are made of soft gel - the acetone will dissolve the nail. Use the more flat end of your stick tool to scrape off the gel from your nail until all comes off
3. If you use water: use the same technique as above for removing with glue tabs: use the stick tool on the sides of the nail to gently move up and down under the edge of the nail until it pops off
4. Remove any remaining glue from the nail using acetone on a cotton pad. Finish with buffing the nail completely clean using your nail file.
5. Finish with my nourising nail oil
NEVER rip the nails off, if hard to remove use another round of warm water and try again.
Nail Care
After removal with glue tabs:
1. Carefully remove the glue tab by gently pulling it off the nail with your fingers OR use the stick-tool to push the glue tab off
2. Clean the inside of the nail with alcohol
3. Store the nails in a dry, dust free place
4. Use nail oil on natural nails to hydrate them
After removal with glue:
The nails are not reusable after using glue since the acetone dissolves the nails. Make sure to use nail oil at least 2 times a day after removal to hydrate your natural nails after using glue.
